Re: NEWBIE NEEDS HELP!!!!

[quote="the_empress_1984":2fuk4pbk]hi all, im absolutely new to adobe photoshop 7.0, i brought it months ago and only today have i decided to try and use it to change a free template i downloaded. i need some help desperately. I need to know how i can get the template i have created on photoshop, onto my website. i wondered if there was possibly a way i could get the html code off photoshop so i could just insert that in there or is there some special way around it. Any help you could give me would be great. I am getting so frustrated now and google and the tutorials arnt helping me much. Thanks you. Becky aka Emp[/quote:2fuk4pbk] The way people normally do it when they have done a template in Photoshop is to slice and dice it but this is a bad way to make sites. It just involve cuting the template into sections and making a table for it in a WYSIWYG editor like Dreamweaver or Front Page. But as I say this is not how you should make a website. Websites should be designed by hand coded HTML/XHTML and CSS maybe even database driven with the use of server-side programming. This is not as hard as it sounds but it also is not a 5 min job to learn either. This site has most of the info needed to learn HTML and CSS though once you have the basics down I find other sources are better. http://www.htmldog.com/
